I made a few cards recently. I finally got some time alone!! Here they are:

Terrible Accident

Sorry I haven't posted anything new. We found out that a friend of the family was run over and killed by a car. We are shocked and I am not sure what to even say. He had a wife and 2 teenage children. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. It makes you realize how precious the time you spend with family is. Never take a second for granted it may be the last. Always say I love you and never leave angry. Well, that is all for now.

It's the weekend!!

It is finally the weekend. After a not so typical week at work I am happy to say that it is Friday. Sean and I plan to go to the coast this weekend to celebrate his birthday, which will be a lot of fun I hope. Newport is a great place to visit and I can't wait to eat at a really great restaurant called The Chowder Bowl that I have eaten at since I was a kid going to the beach with my parents. It is really yummy!! I will hopefully get around to posting a few pics and a few projects that I just haven't had time to finish yet.

I am so excited!!!

I can barely sit still here at work. I just found out that a local boutique wants to buy my cards to sell in their store!! I can't believe it. I am still working out the details with the owner but it should be a fun adventure, something very new. I already have an Etsy shop but it just isn't doing that great. It seems to get barried in the hundreds of things people post there everyday. We'll see how this goes. I hope to post a few more things I have been working on later this week.

365 Cards

I love this new blog, it gives you a new challenge EVERYDAY!! I just wish I could find the time everday. It gives great inspiration and I am sure will be a lot of fun. I am a little behind but I think I will try and catch upin the next couple days. Here is a card I made for day 8! Enjoy!!

Cards

Here a a few pictures of some cards I made over the weekend. Sean (my husband) asked if it was my spring collection because I used the same line of papers for each . I love these papers, I can't remember the name of the collection but it is so bright and colorful and sings SPRING which I am so desperately craving. If anyone has been to Oregon I am sure they know what I am talking about. It is gorgeous, all the flowers, trees, and plants are all in bloom and although we do get quite a bit of rain it is worth it.

I won.....

I never, never, ever, ever win anything! My sister was always the lucky one growing up and finally I think my luck is changing. I played along in the blog hop for CPS and I won on Charity Hassel's blog. It's so exciting and it was a lot of fun!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Stress....

Today has been a very interesting day. To catch you up, we rent our home right now and it was put up for sale last June. Since the economy is down the hole right now the owner hasn't had much luck. Today I came home to see a big SALE PENDING sign stuck across the old one!! I am very nervous about this. Right now would be a terrible time to have to move. My husband and I have plans to buy a home but we won't be ready for a couple more years to do that with the plan we have. Also the location of our current home is PERFECT!!! We live 2 blocks from the school and our daycare provider (My mother in law) lives right down the street, she is fabulous and I would be crushed if I had to put the girls in a daycare at this point. Right now I am not sure what will happen and all I have to say is I am ready for a new year to begin, and it just started.
Hopefully the rest of 2009 will only get better!

First day back...

Today was my first day back at work since I was out with Pneumonia and what a day! We had some issues with fraud and it was stressful! Not a good day to be back. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!
On the lighter side this weekend my Brother and Sister in law bought us a weekend at the beach for Christmas and my husbands side of the family all went, (What a blast!!!). We went to Seaside and stayed in a 3 bedroom hotel room with a jacuzzi tub. We ended up staying up until about 3 AM just playing games. If you ever get the chance to play Catch Phrase do because it is a lot of fun!

Pneumonia

Today is about the 15th day that we have been dealing with pneumonia, first Emma, then me, now my youngest daughter Kaitlyn has it! I never knew it was contagious but SURPRISE! it is. Hopefully it will be gone by the time we go to the beach this weekend!!
